Terms and conditions – Formae
Formae AB (corporate registration number 060414-1853) is headquartered in Umeå.

1. Order
Once you have completed your order, an order confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided.
In the confirmation you will find information about the products, price, billing and delivery address.
If there is something wrong with the order confirmation, please contact us immediately via the contact form or email.
2. Delivery and import VAT
Our normal delivery times are 5–15 working days. Orders placed during weekends will be shipped the next working day at the earliest.
Delays may occur due to postal or customs processing, which is beyond our control.
All orders are handled and shipped from our distribution partner outside the EU .
This means that you as the customer are the importer of the goods and are responsible for paying any import VAT, customs duties and administration fees upon entry into the recipient country.
Formae AB applies DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) as shipping terms.
This means that:

No Swedish or EU VAT is added to the purchase.

No IOSS number is used.

The customer is responsible for any import fees.
If the Swedish Tax Agency requests evidence during an audit, Formae can present freight forwarder documentation or other supporting evidence that shows that import VAT has been charged to the customer.
If the transport company handles customs or VAT in a different way than agreed, the responsibility still lies with the customer as the importer.
3. Prices
All prices are stated in SEK and are exclusive of 25% VAT .
Any customs duties and VAT will be added according to the recipient country's regulations.
Formae reserves the right to correct incorrect pricing information or adjust prices if necessary.
4. Right of withdrawal & Satisfaction guarantee
When purchasing goods on the website, there is a 30-day statutory right of withdrawal/open purchase, as well as our 30- day satisfaction guarantee from the date of receipt.
4.1 When exercising the right of withdrawal or guarantee
You must notify us that you want to cancel the purchase or use the warranty via the contact form.
The message shall state the following:

Which products are affected?
The product must be returned within 14 days of notification.
You are responsible for return shipping and the product must be well packaged in its original packaging.
We have the right to make deductions from the refund amount corresponding to any decrease in value.

Sealed products where the seal has been broken

Goods that can deteriorate quickly (e.g. food)

Custom-made products

Services performed with explicit consent

Newspapers or magazines
5. Complaints and claims
All products are checked before being shipped.
If the product is still defective, damaged or misdelivered, we comply with applicable consumer protection laws.
5.1 What to do if you make a complaint

If the item cannot be replaced, we will refund the amount in accordance with consumer law.
We are responsible for return shipping if the complaint is approved.
In the event of a dispute, Formae follows decisions from the Swedish National Board of Complaints (ARN) .
6. Limitation of liability
Formae is not liable for indirect damages or consequential losses, delays or errors caused by events beyond our control (Force Majeure), such as labor disputes, fire, government decisions, war or non-delivery from suppliers.
7. Product information
We reserve the right for any printing errors and final sales.
The color and appearance of the images may vary depending on the screen and photo quality.
We always try to represent the products as accurately as possible.

When you shop at Formae, you accept our Privacy Policy and processing of personal data.

In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, you can contact ARN ( arn.se )
or the European Commission's online platform ( ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr ).
Disputes are interpreted according to Swedish law.
12. Important legal notice
Formae sells products according to DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) .
This means that the customer is the importer of the goods and Formae is not responsible for reporting VAT within the EU .
The customer is responsible for:

Follow local import regulations
Formae can present documentation confirming that import VAT has been charged to the customer during an audit.
